The President of the Court of Appeal Justice Zainab Bulkachukwa has ordered the immediate relocation of the Rivers State rerun election petition tribunal from Port Harcourt to Abuja.
The Statement signed by Justice Bulkachukwa revealed that the relocation of the Tribunal was due to security concern in the state. Stating further that the Tribunal will now sit at the Federal High Court premises in Apo, Abuja.
The Tribunal has already received petition from the APGA. Candidate for Port Harcourt Federal Constituency Hon. Braide Wobo against the PDP candidate Hon. Ken Chikere, another petition from the APC Candidate for Obio/Akpo Federal Constituency Hon. Anthony Okocha against the PDP candidate Hon. Kingsley Chinda and several other petitions.
