The Onengiye Elekima Foundation proudly announces the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Unity CUP2025 Football Competition, a groundbreaking initiative to foster unity, peace, and youth empowerment especially for the negnected across Nigeria, with a ₦30 million prize pool. Registration of the tournament is free, and will feature teams from all 774 local government areas (LGAs) including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Competition Overview
Name:
Unity Cup 2025
Target Audience: U-20 male and female teams from all 774 LGAs, 36 states, and the FCT.
Format: Knockout-style, progressing from LGA to state, zonal, and national levels.
Dates:
 February 2025 – October 1, 2025 (Independence Day).
Prizes:
Trophies, medals, and monetary rewards for winners and runners-up.
Competition Structure
1. Free Registration & Team Selection (February – May 2025)
   LGA Level: Local tournaments will determine state representatives.
   State Level: State champions advance to zonal qualifiers.
2. Zonal Qualifiers (June – August 2025)
   – Six geopolitical zones will host knockout tournaments. One winner per zone advances to the national finals.
3. National Finals (August – October 1, 2025)
   Venue:
National Stadium, Abuja.
   Final Match: October 1, 2025.
   Prizes:
     Champion: Trophy, gold medals, and monetary reward.
     Runner-up: Trophy, silver medals, and monetary reward.
     Third Place: Bronze medals and token prizes.
