‘We want to drive to victory with you sitting in front come 2019’- Ojukaye Flag-Amachree

“According to the World Bank Development Indicators, women constitute forty nine percent (49.34%) of Nigeria’s population; this implies that the vote of one woman is as important as the vote of a man.”

The Sate Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers State, Ojukaye Flag- Amachree, made the empathic statement while delivering the keynote address, during the women’s summit, which held over the weekend.

He said; “While women are faced with untold barriers participating in politics; you will agree with me that women in Nigerian political space are reliable allies, loyal and committed to the values that strengthen the party they belong. A clear testimony is the present defection and betrayals within our party hierarchy at the National Assembly. It is evident that in times like these, you can count on the integrity of a woman.”
