Top Rivers APC chieftain resigns, blames weak leadership

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Engr. Reynolds Bekinbo Dagogo-Jack, has resigned from the Rivers State Chapter of the party. Dagogo-Jack, a former Chairman of the party’s Contact and Mobilization committee and member of the State Elders Advisory Committee, said his decision to leave the party was due to the refusal of the leadership of the party in the State, to carry out the necessary reforms to build a proper State structure that can win elections.

Although no indication of interest to join any other Party was given in his letter addressed to the Chairman of the party in Akuku Toru Local Government Area of the State, efforts by Africa Update to reach him directly for further details has not been successful at the time of this report.
