The South South zonal secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. David Okumgba, has reiterated that the electorates have the powers to stop vote buying, ballot box snatching and intimidation, if the right will is exhibited.

He disclosed this during an interactive session with members of the Change we believe group, at the Zonal Secretariat in Rivers state.
Okumgba observed that while mobilization of voters is crucial, the group should ensure that their votes are counted .
” There will be actual voting and there will be vote counting, so let us put ourselves together and make ourselves to be that force that will follow the votes and remain there until the ballot papers are counted”, he advised.
He further charged members of the group to go to the nook and crannies of the state, in a bid to attract more people into the APC.
Earlier in his address, the South south coordinator of the group, Diepriye Ofor .T., said the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government are glaring to the extent that Governor Nyesom Wike, could not help but publicly commended Buhari for completing the International wing of the Port Harcourt international airport in Omagwa.
According to offor, the International airport which has the capacity to process 7 million passengers, will boost the economy of the state, stressing that the group is confident that APC will emerge victorious during the 2019 general elections.
