Rivers PDP constitutes Chairmanship screening committee, appeal panel

Ahead of the proposed local government primaries in Rivers State, the working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has approved the constitution of the screening committee and appeal panel.

A statement signed by the party’s state secretary, Samuel Opkoko, listed the following persons as chairmen and members of the two committees:

Chairmanship screening Committee

1) Senator George Sekibo – Chairman

2) Chief Barr. Oris U. Onyiri – Secretary

3) Mrs. Emeji Justina – member

4) Mr. Charles Awortu – member

5) Hon. Martins Amaehule – member

Chairmanship Appeal Panel

1) Amb. Desmond Akawor – chairman

2) Bar. Mrs. Ukel Oyaghiri – secretary

3) Barr. Pidonson Gabriel – member
