Rivers NNPP disowns Henry Ovie Ogbekene

The Executive Committee of the Rivers State chapter of NNPP wish to warn the general public that from information reaching them a group of persons claiming to be care taker committee of the New Nigeria People Party, NNPP, Rivers State chapter,led by one Mr Henry Ovie Ogbekene, of Delta State have been going around misrepresenting the ideals of the NNPP.
The said Mr. Ogbekene who claims to be the chairman is not an indigene of Rivers State, does not work and live in Rivers State. Most importantly, he is not a registered member of NNPP Rivers State chapter .
NNPP is a grass root party, according to the teachings of the founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam. We have reported to the security agents and such persons if found should be arrested. It is pertinent to warn that if these unscrupulous agents are allowed to continue with their activities which may cause a breach of the peace in our peaceful party and the state at large. The so called CTC are desperate, and seeking for relevance in thr Rivers State political space.
As elected officials, we were produced by elections and those who will replace us will come through election, when our tenure has elapsed . For now our tenure is still running under the Able Leadership of Hon. Harry Richard kalada as yhe Authentic Chairman of the party in the State.
We are using this opportunity to warn the general public of the antics of the faceless impostors, because NNPP Rivers State will not be responsible for any of their actions especially now that matters are before a competent court of law in the Rivers state High court.
