Rivers: INEC set to conduct mock voters’ accreditation, verification in Six LGAs

Electorates in six selected Local Government Areas across the three Senatorial Districts in Rivers State will participate in a Mock voters’ accreditation/verification exercise according to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. The exercise is proposed to hold at two polling units in each of the selected LGAs, between the hours of 8.30am and 2.30pm on Saturday February 4.

The statement signed by the Head of Department Voter Education and Publicity enjoined all registered voters in the selected Polling units, Political Parties, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), the Media and the general Public to come out en-masse to participate/observe the exercise in the designated LGAs as follows: Rivers East: Ikwerre and Obio/Akpor, Rivers South-East: Gokana and Opobo/Nkoro and Rivers West:  Asari-Toru and Bonny.
