The quest for a credible riverine candidate who would sack the Governor Nyesom Wike led administration in Rivers State, is now being placed at the front burner, as political groups shop for possible replacement.
An advocacy group, Rivers Economic recovery movement has put its weight behind, Engr. Beks Dagogo-Jack, who has served the state as a former commissioner for Works, and later commissioner for Transport.
Calling on the technocrat to contest for the governorship, the group expressed confidence in his ability to emerge victorious due to experience, vision and deep passion for development.
Dagogo-Jack, who is the chairman of the State contact and mobilization committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was adjourned as a man with requisite education, character and experience to reform the civil service and rebuild the failing economy of the state which would generate employment.
