Rivers APC says it is poised to produce credible leadership, outlines plans

The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Dr. Sokonte Davies, has assured party men and women of the readiness of the state to conduct credible congresses across the Wards, Local Government Areas and the State, in the earliest possible time.

He gave the assurance when the leadership of the party in Degena Local Government Area, led by Chief Levy Braide, paid a solidarity visit to the State Secretariat of the party at 63 Aba Road, in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of the state, within the week.

Davies, who welcomed the August visitors alongside other members of the caretaker committee, said the congresses will be conducted in collaboration with the National leadership of the party. He further assured the party men and women of the resolve of members of the caretaker committee to address and meet the yearnings of all and sundry, including non party men and women, who have over the years looked forward to the provision of an alternative platform that will guarantee good governance. He stated that the committee is on a rescue mission , and they are poised to produce APC leadership that people will be proud of.
