The Chief Security Officer of Degema LGA and an indigene of Bakana community, Dennis      Teneilabe has commended the people of the area for their peaceful conduct before, during and after the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
In the statement, the Special adviser on Media and Publicity to the CSO, Otamunoboma S. Iboroma commiserated with families of those who lost their loved ones during the Presidential and National Assembly elections in Rivers State.
Dennis Teneilabe also called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of the INEC ad-hoc staff Mrs Ibiseki Amachree in Degema.
He called on the people of Degema LGA to maintain the existing peace and eschew all forms violence and thuggery ahead of the Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
