The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike has stated reasons behind the recent dissolution of his cabinet.
Speaking at a thanksgiving service for the election victory of the lawmaker representing Ogu/Bolo State Constituency, Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipi, at Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Wike said: “There are those who are hungry to come in, there are those who are hungry to go. You have to, you know, carry everybody along.
“Even me, I have tenure and I know the day my tenure will come to an end. So being a particular appointee, you should know that something can happen anyday, anytime.
“Except those who have not been into politics. People who are loyal! Is it not? The people who are not loyal, you don’t work with them. Those who are loyal will come back. Those who are not loyal, will be shown the way out”
He further stated that stakeholders were consulted before the dissolution was made.
