Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has released the schedule for the planned congresses billed to kick off from Monday, April 16, 2018 across 23 local government areas of the state.
A statement signed by the Party’s State Secretary, Samuel Okpoko, reads, ” Monday April 16, 2018, Ward congresses, Rivers East Senatorial District, Tuesday April 17, Ward congresses, Rivers West Senatorial District, Wednesday April 18, Ward Congresses , Rivers South East Senatorial District , Thursday April 19, Local Government Area congresses, Rivers East Senatorial District, Friday April 20, Local Government Area congresses, Rivers West Senatorial District, Saturday April 21, Local Government Area congresses, Rivers South East Senatorial District”.
“Consequently all chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants, ad hoc delegates and members of PDP are enjoined to adhere strictly to the schedule”, the statement emphasized.
