The newly elected APC  Chairman Rivers State, Hon Ojukaye Flag Amachree, has vehemently sounded his total commitment to advance the course of the party in the State.

He noted that Rivers people have suffered so much setbacks, and so has the State. ‘We now stand for nothing, obviously empty of adequate capacity that ought to compete with the 21st century. The State as we all can see has fallen short of developmental standard, such that investors see nothing good in the State no more, nothing attracts them here anymore, so how can they stake their investments here?. We have been impoverished by this singular act of misgivings, and it is high time we get fed up with this cataleptic infused style of governance.

‘This is not the Rivers State our Leader the Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of the State risked his life for. The gigantic physical infrastructures he painstakingly built has today being destroyed by the crass mediocrity of the present leadership of the State, such that has affected lives and progress of Rivers people negatively. The obvious neglect to proper maintenance is indeed obnoxious in all ramification, intentionally destroying our common wealth is an act of wickedness my leadership will no more entertain. We owe Rivers State a duty, and that duty is to Liberate Rivers State from the clutches of this PDP led administration in Rivers State.

‘I have a principle, it is my mantra, it is my motto: “More work, Less talk”. This simply means, our actions should be louder than our words. There should be strict compliance to pro activeness, this is the only way we can save Rivers State. Our mandate is that of a rescue mission, and in Rescuing Rivers State, we must be ready to give our best irrespective of whose ox is gored,’ he opined.

The valor wired Chairman went further to state: I am aware that in the course of our challenges as a party, which is common even in homes, some persons may have been wounded and aggrieved. I promise to make certain that anger will not see another dawn, but will be resolved immediately and amicably. Let’s heal the wounds and give ourselves rest, we have work to do. This step is not to say that any is weak or strong, but that we must make sacrifices for the collective interest of the party. We must work in synergy to achieve desired result, that should be our target. And if we must achieve that target, then we must strive to bear our excesses, and in the process build a formidable party that will bear an unmatchable force that will oust the Pharaohs and their Egyptians out of the City called Rivers State that God has given to us, he professed.

Expressing his loyalty and commitment to the leader of the party he said: “I want to specifically thank the Hon Minister for transportation, our supreme leader and mentor, for bringing the party thus far. His sacrifices I assure him, will never be in vain. This we will prove by taking over the Brick House come 2019,’ he assured.
