The need for power to shift from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, was the crux of the mandate given to Local Government Area coordinators of Project Tonye Patrick Cole, at their inauguration on October 17, 2018.
The Coordinator, Gloria Boma Harry, stressed that the time has come for Rivers citizens to have their liberation from a government that has nothing to offer.
She said, continuity is critical to the survival of democracy, but when a government lacks the capacity to provide good health care, education and other social amenities, that shows that such government has expired.
Harry expressed worry at the inability of the Governor Nyesom Wike, led administration to initiate and complete people oriented projects and tasked the LGA coordinators to mobilize support for the All Progressives Congress and its candidates at all levels.
The oath of office was administered by the Director of Publicity, Daminabo Erekosima , at the Golf Prince Hotel, Old GRA.
