Let’s come together for Nigeria’s future – Abe

…Says Elections are over
… Commends Atiku, Obi

Former representative of the Rivers South East Senatorial District at the 8th National Assembly, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe has called on Nigerians to come together to build an economically viable nation where citizens can prosper in all their endeavours.

Abe in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson said with the confirmation by the Supreme Court on Thursday of the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 2023 Presidential Elections, it is time to face the future of Nigeria now that the elections are over.

The Senator said that the Supreme Court only confirmed what all Nigerians already knew that President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored the highest number of votes in the election, met the constitutional requirements and was rightfully returned as the winner by the Independent Electoral Commission ( INEC).

He commended former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Governor Peter Obi for their laudable contributions to the growth of democracy, and stated that having exhausted all constitutional means of challenging the outcome of the election, it is now their patriotic duty to put the unity and progress of Nigeria above every other consideration, close ranks with President Bola Tinubu to rebuild the Nigerian economy and fast track economic opportunities for all.

‘’Nigeria is currently facing grave economic challenges and the continued distraction of an endless political crisis will do our country no good.

“It is time for all Nigerians to come together put our people first”.
