The place of women in politics was reiterated when women converged in Abuja for the 1st All Progressives Congress, APC National leadership and Project 4 + 4 women ambassadors summit 2018, on December 4, 2018.

Speaking shortly after her inauguration as the Rivers State Coordinator, Project 4+4 Rivers State Chapter, Bar. Constance Marshall Harry, said the role of women in the development of the Nation and strengthening of Democratic systems in the country can not be over emphasized.

She stated that the inauguration of the various chapters of Project 4 + 4 would ensure the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, as the message of Change would be taken to every community in the country.

Harry noted that the exceptional performance of the Buhari led federal government in all sectors are glaring and speaks volume of the personality of the APC presidential candidate.

She urged Nigerians to cast their votes for Buhari, who has through his laudable projects shown commitment towards improving the living standards of citizens.

Noting that another four years of the Buhari led federal government is the guarantee for a better future.

Reacting on the state of things in her home state, she called on women, especially Rivers women to work assiduously towards removing the bad government under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, in the state.

She said the time has come for women to explore the potentials in their number to vote for the APC Governorship candidate, Tonye Cole, in order to provide quality education, health care and other social amenities needed in the state.

The event held at the International women centre, Abuja, under the leadership of Her Excellency, Hajiya Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari.
