Kwankwaso dumps APC

Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has allegedly dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The defection,  according to close source, took place on Tuesday.

Kwankwaso, who has had a running battle with his successor, Umar Ganduje, defected with 10 Kano State lawmakers.

Recall that moves were made by the leadership of the APC in Kano chapter, to suspend Kwankwaso, in March last year, over alleged anti-party activities.
