The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has released the timetable for the conduct of a by- election for Port Harcourt constituency 111 State Constituency of Rivers State and Takum 1 State Constituency of Taraba State.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner for Rivers State, Obo Effanga, disclosed this yesterday during a press briefing.
He said the by-election would hold August 18, 2018.
Recall that the lawmaker representing the constituency at the state house of Assembly, Victor Ihunwo, had vacated his seat to become a local government council chairman.
