Africa update has received news of heavy gunshot around Mile 3 Diobu axis of Port Harcourt constituency 3, this morning .
While the cause of the shooting is unknown, there are also reports of similar shooting around the Emenike axis of Mile one Diobu.
Some eyewitnesses account alleged that thugs accompanied by members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with security personnel were seen intimidating voters and agents of the All Progressives Congress,APC.
There are reports also that tags belonging to the APC agents were seized by these political thugs.
Electoral process for the by-election for port Harcourt constituency 3, State House of Assembly is ongoing in other areas within the constituency.
