A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Farah Dagogo, has officially joined the race for the Rivers State Governorship. This became possible when a socio-political group, known as Youth Mandate, purchased the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial nomination and expression of interest forms on his behalf.
Coordinator of the group in the South- South, Comrade Zebulon Timi, told newsmen that the decision to purchase the PDP’s Governorship Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for Dagogo, was due to his uncommon love for youths, and rare leadership qualities, he has exhibited.
You will recall that a fortnight ago, Dagogo, who is currently representing the Bonny/ Degema Federal Constituency, had dropped the hint of his interest to join the Governorship race.
Africa Update was informed by a reliable source that the group later presented the forms to the legislative aides of the Federal Lawmaker for onward transmission.
