Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made new appointments to increase the number of political appointees in his administration.
Governor Fubara earlier today, approved the immediate appointment of fifteen Special Assistants and Chief of Protocol.
The appointment was contained in a press release signed on July 31, by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Boniface Onyedi.
The statement reads: This is to bring to the notice of Rivers people and the general public that His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the following appointments with immediate effect:
- Owolabi Ofori – Special Assistant, Logistics
- Ogbonda Okocha – Special Assistant, Project Monitoring
- Princewill Dike – Special Assistant, Strategy
- Chima Aguma – Special Assistant, Aviation Matters
- Joseph Awuse – Special Assistant, Finance
- Igwe Anyanwu – Special Assistant, Foreign Investment
- Jerry A. Omotsegunwa – Special Assistant, Electronic Media
- Fenibo Fubara Jnr – Special Assistant, ICT
- Engr. Sonye Maxwell – Special Assistant, Students Affairs
- Bernard Odike – Special Assistant, Social/New Media
- Princess Dorathy Osaronu – Special Assistant, Social/New Media
- Seigha Adedeji – Special Assistant, Social/New Media
- Marshall Obuzor – Special Assistant, Social/New Media
- Linda Owutubo – Special Assistant, Gender
- Norisia Wilfred Pepple – Special Assistant, Youth and Sports
- Amb. Harold Koko – Chief of Protocol
