Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the appointment of Dr. Tammy Danagogo and Hon. Chidi Amadi.
The appointment of the duo comes hours after a column written by Port Harcourt based novelist and award winning Publisher, Gloria Boma Harry, requesting for the consideration and appointment of women into key government offices including those of the Chief of Staff and Secretary to Government.
The announcement of the appointment of Danagogo and Amadi, has however generated positive reactions within the Political circle as people see the appointees as seasoned technocrats whose wealth of experience will greatly impact the Fubara led administration.
Africa Update reports that Danagogo was reappointed as the Secretary to State Government while Amadi stepped into the shoes of Emeka Woke, as the new Chief of Staff.
