Etche APC receives 1,018 decampees from PDP, ACD

An avalanche of defection hit Etche Local Government Area on Friday,  when about one thousand and eighteen decampees from ACD and PDP joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Receiving the decampees who were led by their leaders , Engr. Loveday Onwugbuta and Hon. Samuel Ali, the Etche APC Chairman, Hon. Kingdom Nwankwoala (a.k.a Obodo), later handed them over to the Rivers State APC chairman, Chief Davies Ikanya.

Ikanya on his part assured the decampees and their leaders of equal opportunities in the party.

Highpoint of the day was the arrival of the Minister of Transportation,  Chibuike Amaechi who was greeted by a massive crowd of supporters, including the leadership of Etche APC, led by Hon. Reginald Ukwuoma, and other dignitaries from Etche such as Hon George Nwanjoku (Leader Const 1) Hon. Chidi Nweke (Leader Const 2) Chief Hon Ogbonna Nwuke, Chief Hon Okey C Amadi, Chief Hon Nnamdi Okere, His Excellency Chief Hon Captain Nwankwo, High Chief Ambrose Nwuzi, Hon Charles Anyanwu,  Hon Emeka Ordu, Hon George Ukwuoma Nwaogba, Hon Mrs Cecilia Mmeni, Mrs Bilhah Chamberlain,  Hon Polycarp Agubolom (The capacity leader), Hon Okey Okere (Chairman Etche CRA progressives Patriots), Miss Austin Chinwe( Leader Young Female Progressives Etche) amongst others.

Those on the Minister’s entourage  include Hon Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Hon Engr Sampson Ngerebara, Chief Tombari Victor Giadom, Hon Emeka Bekee and several others.
