The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee has condemned the Ekiti State governor, Chief Peter Ayodele Fayose, for causing commotion and division within the party in the State. The National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus complained bitterly about how Fayose has caused the party alot of damages that may hinder the success of the party in the forthcoming Ekiti gubernatorial election.
The PDP National Chairman emphasized on how Fayose has sent away pillars of the party in the State. He quoted some examples of notable politicians sent away in Ekiti PDP by Fayose which are: Sen. Ayo Arise, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, Chief Falayi, Sen Fatima Raji Razaq, Hon Femi Bamisile, Ambassador Dare bejide, Sikiru Tai Lawal, Bisi Omoyeni, Biodun Aluko, and some assembly members.
The National Chairman made it known that a house divided against itself won’t stand. The winning chances of our party in Ekiti should have not beeen negotiated to this extent if Fayose had not acted god since the inception of his administration till the present moment.
The National Chairman implores all the party’s supporters and members not to relent or allow Fayose’s act of indiscipline to thwart their focus on how to foster peace and strategy in winning the State for the PDP in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
