Some details have filtered into the media space about the political rendezvous between Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and some All Progressives Congress (APC) and PDP Governors, in Ilorin the capital of Kwara State, on Wednesday.
Africa Update gathered from a source that the meeting which held at the home state of the Senate President occurred at the sidelines of the burial rites of the mother of Alhaji Kawu Baraje.
The source further alleged that Wike used the visit to lobby the support of the political bigwigs and also fashion out an alternative plan,which reportedly points to a vice presidency option.
Other dignitaries who stormed the State were Benue Governor Samuel Ortom, Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, ex-Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Senator Lawal Shuaibu, Senator Barnabas Gemade among others.
The guests were later hosted by Kwara Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed.
