Ahead of the April 17, Local Government Council polls in Rivers State, the Peoples Democratic Party, Degema Local Government Area, has inaugurated her campaign committee.
At the inauguration ceremony which took place today, the leader of the party in the LGA, Hon. Pleasant Braide, charged the committee to ensure that the Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates of the party are properly campaigned for to guarantee victory at all levels.
Those inaugurated are: Hon. Michael Ekine- Director General, Chief Tonye Tyger- Deputy Director General, Hon. Gloria Boma Harry- Secretary, Hon. Sammy Johnbull- Director Publicity, Hon. Soye Duke- Director Security, Hon. Okorite Adiele- Director Finance, Alabo Tony Philemon – Main driver, Hon. Ipalibo Sogules, Hon. Jerry Godswill, Hon. Prince Holiken, Hon. Chief Taribo Benson, Hon. Dennis Fayeofori, Hon. Tonye Alex, Hon. Unity Awoudu and Hon. Charles Sogules.
Recall that Hon. Michael Williams emerged as the Chairmanship Candidate and he would be running the race with his deputy, Hon. Maureen Harry.
