A former House of Assembly aspirant and stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Warisenibo Sofiri Gladstone Dappa, has resigned from the party.
Dappa, who is the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers South-East Senatorial District Campaign Council for Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, announced his resignation on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in a resignation letter he personally signed and addressed to the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Opobo/Nkoro LGA Chapter, Rivers State and copied the State Chairman of the Party, Chief Emeka Beke and the Senatorial candidate of Rivers South East, Amb. Oji Ngofa.
In the letter made available to Africa Update, he wrote, “Having painstakingly consulted with my Family, Leaders and Followers, I write to convey my decision to resign my Membership with the All Progressives Congress.
“As a foundation Member of the Party, I sincerely appreciate its Leadership and Membership for the camaraderie we shared and the opportunities through which I served mankind within my disposition.
“This letter also serves automatically as my resignation from the position of Director General, Amb. Oji Ngofa Senatorial Campaign Council for Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.”
