The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has declared results for the Local Government Council polls.
The RSIEC Chairman, Justice C. I. Uriri, (Rtd), addressing stakeholders including journalists, stated that Chairmanship candidates for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, across the 23 local government areas won the election.
This means that the 23 local government councils will be ruled by the PDP.
