Breaking: Chief Whip elected as new Speaker

The Plateau State House of Assembly on Wednesday impeached its speaker, Peter AziAzi, after several failed attempts.

The lawmakers elected the Chief whip of the House, Joshua Madaki, representing Jos East State constituency as the new Speaker.
