Beks Dagogo-Jack named Chairman APC contact and mobilization committee (see full list)

Ahead of 2019 general elections, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers State Chapter,  has inaugurated the Contact and Mobilization Committee.

Speaking today, at the party’s Secretariat, venue of the inauguration, State Chairman of the Party, Chief Davies Ibiamu Ikanya, eulogized Chairman of the Committee, Engr. Bekinbo Dagogo Jack, describing him as a seasoned nationalist. He expressed optimism that the calibre of members of the committee is first of its kind in the history of the state, which is a positive sign that the party is poised for victory.

While also inaugurating the 23 Local Government Area cells of the committee, Ikanya, encouraged members of the various cells to engage party members, whether aggrieved or not and non party members to register for their permanent voters cards, PVCs, which will enable the party remove the Nyesom Wike led state government.

He reiterated that the committee is very critical to the success of the party and tasked them to go about their activities devoid of bias.

He urged them to see their membership of the cells as a huge responsibility and admonished them to live up to expectations.

Stating further that the party has put the machinery in place for success and charged them to reach out to disgruntled members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who are eager to decamp to APC.

Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of the APC State Contact and Mobilization committee, Engr. Dagogo Jack, emphasized the need for all hands on deck, to guarantee victory for APC in 2019.

He expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for their choice in constituting the committee and called on members of the committee and cells to put in their best in ensuring that the trust and confidence reposed in them would be actualized.

Dagogo-Jack opined that non indigenes are a critical component in the mobilization drive .

The APC State Secretary, Chief Emeka Bekee, Secretary of the Contact and Mobilization committee, Chief Alex Wele, amongst several others were at the event.
