There was melodrama at the venue of the Governorship debate organised by BBC, along Peter Odili Road, in Rivers State, when the Governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party, SDP, Precious Elekima, stormed the place with his supporters.
Africa Update gathered that BBC Pidgen Governorship debate was organised at the Hub event centre to enable candidates unveil their manifestos to the public, but Elekima who was not invited to the debate stormed the venue yelling and threatening to pull down the place.
He was however allowed into the premises to participate in the debate, which had Isaac Wonwu of Labour Party, Eniye BrIde of African Democratic Congress and Victor Fingesi of Action Democratic Party on the hot seat.
while Nyesom Wike the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the Governorship candidate of the Accord party, Dumo Lulu Briggs, were conspicuously absent.
