A massive crowd greeted the All Progressives Congress, APC, LGA congress in Degema Local Government Area, today, May 12, 2018.
The congress, described by stakeholders to be the most peaceful and coordinated in the history of conduct of Congresses in the area, produced LGA officials for the party.
Leader of Degema LGA, Dr. Sokonte Davies and other stakeholders adopted the open ballot system, also known as option A4 in electing LGA officers who would oversee the affairs of the party in Degema.
Mr. Ibim Duke was elected as chairman , Chief Amonibia Amonibia – deputy chairman and Mr. Owunari F. Sanipe – Secretary.
Twenty four other persons were elected to fill various offices.
