Indications have emerged that the Igo Aguma led caretaker committee is set to revive the fortunes of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State. A notice of meeting advertised in the Nation shows that a meeting of the Rivers State Executive Committee is billed to hold on Saturday, June 13.
The meeting, according to the notice will hold virtually via zoom and is expected to have 32 members of the Rivers State Executive Committee, including the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi,and Board member, NNPC, Senator Magnus Abe. At the time of this report, Africa Update is yet to unravel the agenda for the meeting, but there are strong indications that this meeting mught be the first in the series of several tmeetings aimed at repositioning the party.
