About 800 people who claim to be members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bonny, Rivers State have defected to the All Blending Party.
Similarly, over 500 people who said they were members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bonny also dumped the party to join the All Blending Party (ABP).
Speaking at the sensitization campaign organized by the All Blending Party in Bonny, one of the defectors , Moses Brown said they dumped the APC because the party failed to provide good governance to the citizenry.
” I and 800 of my APC members decided to defect because of the different litigations that have been in court. We are tired of APC. Since we don’t have any candidate, we have decided to support no other person than, Hon. Prince Kalada Allison of the All Blending Party. We will work with him and make sure we win and go to the Brick House”, the APC defector asserted.
The leader of the PDP defectors, Precious Jumbo on his part alleged that the PDP led government in Rivers State has abandoned the people of Bonny Local Government Area in the last three and a half years.
In the meantime, the governorship candidate of the All Blending Party in Rivers State, Prince Kalada Allison assured all the defectors of a level playing ground and good governance if elected at the polls.
