  • Condemns Insecurity In Imo, S’East

In the spirit of the Yuletide season of the birth of Christ, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has pleaded with Christians across the globe to make peace with one another, describing love and unity as most vital factors that sustain peace.

Anyanwu notes that reason why insecurity remains on the increase in both Imo state and the South East at large is due to the absence of love, unity and peace amongst stakeholders in the society.

According to him, once members of different political parties begin to see themselves as people created by one God, the issue of acrimony, rancour and backbiting will be a thing of the past.

He describes as unfortunate, regrettable and unwholesome the behavior of some supposed leaders who should be in the business of making peace end up creating crisis in the society, and admonished them to turn a new leaf.

Anyanwu urges them to use the festive season to reconcile with their neighbors, appealing to them to always pray for the development of the society rather than working to divide their environment.

He therefore wishes Christians all over the world a merry Christmas and prosperous new year in advance.
