About four people are now feared dead, as angry youths went on rampage following the purported abduction and rape of a teenage girl from Gwara community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Africa update gathered that youths from Gwara community had invaded Gwure community, abducted five people, chopped off the hand of one of the rapists and burnt several houses in a reprisal attack .
The youth president of Gwure community, Kpakue Famous, and chairman caretaker committee of Khana L.G.A, Gbene Lekue Zini are calling on security agencies to deploy more policemen to the area to prevent further attacks.
