Several houses have been burnt and at least 10 people killed in fresh violence that erupted on Friday in Shumon Gwaye Village belonging to Shumo ethnic group in Taraba State.
The attack allegedly orchestrated by suspected Wurkum youth, led to reprisal attacks on Didango, a Wurkum community.
The Police Public Relations Officer for Taraba State, Joseph Kwaji, however said only two people were killed in the conflict. Police officers have been drafted to take control of the situation.
