Wike deploys soldiers to communities in Ogoni

Following the spate of killings in communities in Ogoni land, the Rivers State Governor has approved the immediate deployment of Soldiers to the communities.
Speaking while a delegation of the Governing Council of the Kenole Benson Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, led by its Chairman, Chief Adokiye Amiesimaka paid him a visit at the Government House, said it was unacceptable for hoodlums to unleash violence on innocent citizens.
He further warned that government would not hesitate to prosecute culprits, irrespective of their political affiliation.
