Wike bribes Bishops ahead of 2019

• Desecrates the ‘Holy Temple’
• Plays dirty politics in the house of God

The body language of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, which suggests that he might want to allegedly coax men of God into becoming willing vessels of destruction, has raised concern among some organisations and individuals in the state.

President General, Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership, Barr. Chizy Enyi, has called on the leadership of the Christian community to urgently chide some men of God, whose purported fraternity with Wike, might lead the congregation from such churches into terrains filled with intrigues and deceit.

Enyi, in a press statement made available to Africa Update, reiterated that innocent members of the Anglican Communion should not be led into a quagmire in the guise of returning a good deed of Wike, who coincidentally is the vice chairman of the synod organizing committee under he leadership of the Rt. Rev. Ordu, Bishop of Evo Diocese.

He called on the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, under the leadership of Rt. Rev. I.C.O. Kattey to resist undue pressure to succumb to the antics of Wike, which allegedly includes monetary inducement to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and his Re-election bid are endorsed during the forthcoming synod; the same way PDP and Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s ambition were endorsed at the last synod in 2015.
