The Rivers State Governor,  Chief Nyesom  Wike, has appointed former Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo,  as the Senior Special Assistant on Sports Development , while Chibuzor Aholu, was appointed  Senior Special Assistant on Financial Matters.
The Special Assistant to Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media , Simeon Nwakaudu disclosed this on Tuesday.
The statement further revealed that  the appointments would take immediate effect
