Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has reiterated that the disbursement of Palliatives to states to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, is selective and laced with bias.
He made the assertion during a statewide broadcast today, on the strides the state government had taken to ensure that covid-19 is eliminated in the state.
Wike stated that the quick response the Federal Government took when Kano State Government cried out over perceived neglect in the distribution of palliatives to states, further reaffirms his position that the Federal Government does not like the people of Rivers State.
He noted that he was amazed that less than 48 hours after Kano State complained, the Federal Government intervened and gave them the needed support.
He observed that his criticism of the Federal Government was not done to challenge the Buhari led administration, but rather to demand for the right thing to be done.
