Victoria Nyeche urges youths to break the chains of unemployment through creative ideas

A former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly Victoria Nyeche has called on youths in the state to come up with creative ideas that will bring them out of unemployment and improve their lives.

Victoria Nyeche said this at a stakeholders roundtable workshop organized by the Ken Saro-Wiwa Innovation Hub and sponsored by a non governmental organization, Stakeholder Democracy Network in Port Harcourt.

Nyeche said it is impressive to see younger youths stand confidently as CEOs and demonstrating ideas that would help change the narrative about Nigeria.

She urged the Rivers State Commissioner for Youth and Employment Prince Ohia to engage and empower unemployed youths in the state in creative ventures that will reduce insecurity and the high rate of unemployment in the State.

Meanwhile a youth and content developer Tamunotonye Richard, noted that his creative ideas in developing local visual contents online for business owners, has taken him out of the streets of unemployment and made him a successful entrepreneur.

Richard said he is ready to work with the Rivers State ministry of youths and employment to train youths in creative content development.
