Business activities resumes at the Port Harcourt mall yesterday after Wednesday explosion which lead five people critically injured.
As customers are seen shopping and stores inside the mall were open for business. however, the affected section of the mall was made inaccessible.
Meanwhile the fire victims of Wednesday explosion at the Port Harcourt mall are said to be alive and responding to treatment at the regional burned center of The Rivers State University Teaching Hospital.
A medical expert in the burned centers said the victims meant be discharge next week, some police men where also sited at the center talking to the victims.
In the main time a safety professional Japhet Attah as call for a probe awareness and an emergency respond plan by managers of facilities like the Port Harcourt Mall.
Mr Attah said is obvious that the facilities owners and managers did not have some proper safety requirement in place, he said a facility like the Port Harcourt Mall should have trained workers in periodic test of safety equipment like gas dictators, fire extinguisher and smoke detectives to ensure they are still working.
