Uniport riot becomes bloody

The peaceful protest embarked upon by students of the University of port Harcourt has taken a bloody dimension resulting in the destruction of billboards and other property along the entry and exit axis of the institution and death. Students had taken over the university area of the highway in the early hours of the day due to the policy made by the management of the university that any student who hasn’t paid the mandatory tuition will automatically have a carry over for any course written that semester, meanwhile the Uniport fees portal has been closed leaving the students frustrated and angry.
