Two children found dead inside deep freezer

Their lifeless bodies were discovered inside a freezer at their residence located on No 6, Road 1, Eyin Ala, Akure in Ondo State.

It was gathered that their mother, identified as Mrs. Olubunmi Olaitan, left the two primary school pupils in the house playing but before she returned, the two male children were already inside the deep freezer, dead.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident, describing it as “sad and unfortunate.”

“We did not suspect any foul play because it appeared as if the kids were playing inside the deep freezer and the deep freezer locked up when there was nobody at home to open its door for them,” Joseph said.
