It was a dark Friday for traders around the Slaughter Market at Eliozu, along the busy East West Road, in Rivers State, as they watched in horror a truck crush an unidentified keke driver to death.
According to eyewitnesses, the man was attempting to cross the road that Friday morning, when the sad incident occurred. It was gathered that the truck driver attempted to flee but he was apprehended by traders in the market and almost lynched, while the victim was taken to an undisclosed hospital.
