The  Kano State FRSC sector Commander, Aminu Umar Jakapa, has confirmed that troops enroute Azare on a special operation were involved in an auto crash on Friday,  at Gaya, Jahun federal highway, 65km south of Kano.
He said 36 officers who were critically injured, have been transferred to Dutse General hospital for treatment.
According to a statement issued by the Commander,  “it was a lone road traffic accident involving military truck with registration number NA 1716 BO5 conveying 36 soldiers.
The statement further stated that no life was lost in the accident involving the squad led by Major R.O Aliaze.
