A commercial motorcyclist and a female passenger have been crushed to death in Ilorin by a passenger train on the kano/ Lagos route on Sunday.
It was gathered that the accident which occurred about 11 am along the Kangu-lle-Araromi road in the llorin West Local Government Area made onlookers burst into tears.
The train was said to have stopped some meters away from the scene of the accident but the victims died instantly. Eyewitness revealed that the victims had attempted to cross the rail line before the unfortunate accident occurred. Policemen from the Ganmo Police Station later evacuated the two bodies.
