Torrents of rain have wrecked havoc in Rivers State, leaving one dead and two injured, as a residential building under construction collapsed on Tuesday at Aya Mini in Woji Community, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
The building, which according to eyewitness account, was being constructed on a waterway, caved in, following consistent rainfall that rendered many homeless, due to floods in various parts of the State.
Residents have had to contend with the downpours which has held most parts of the state on lockdown as residents are unable to navigate through flooded streets.
